Fly Robots are a small drone type enemy, appearing to have been an improvised scout due to its metallic frame, leaf propeller and ramshackle engine. Capable of flight, the Fly Robot moves through the air in short successive bursts by flapping it's leaf "tail." The front mounted engine is built with a gun, and will shoot at the player when in range. Relatively quiet, you can hear it fly through the air with soft hisses, though its gun is much louder.
The Fly Robot is much better at horizontal movement than it is at vertical movement, attaining impressive speeds if given ample time and space. However, upwards movement is slow, and is often used in tandem with horizontal adjustments. Fly Robots can not fly backwards or turn sharply, having to slow down to a near stop before switching orientation. Despite this, do not underestimate its agility.
Fly Robots can not aim upwards or downwards to any degree, but rather need to get a direct line of fire with the enemy in order to hit. Like most bots, they have a slight pause before actually shooting. Fly Robots have a very small amount of health, with a slightly higher damage tolerance than a Bird, if not the same. When killed, they make a sort of "power down" sound. When unarmed, a Fly Robot will attempt to flee, but its flight pattern somewhat trumps this.

Fly Robots can be found in Research Facility at the far right spawner, appearing early on in the game and continuing to do so until the later stages. Take care with the Bounce Pad, as a Fly Robot may touch it by chance and be shot up into attack range.
